Oahu
Oahu boasts the most diversified landscape and culture in the Hawaiian Islands. The state capital of Honolulu sits on the southern shores of Oahu and encompasses the most recognizable landmarks in the Pacific – Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and Pearl Harbor to name a few. Within the population of this city, you will find the widest range of available vendors and wedding professionals, unsurpassed by any other island, as well as the biggest selection of ceremony and reception sites. After all, Oahu’s landscape encompasses not only a bustling city, but discreet shorelines, lush mountain ranges, farmland, and suburban towns overflowing with wealthy private estates. Convenience is most the obvious benefit of choosing Oahu as your destination. Honolulu International Airport offers daily direct flights to the U.S. Mainland on several different airlines.

Kauai
The “Garden Isle” has become more and more popular as a wedding destination choice for couples who are looking for a departure from the most populated islands of Oahu and Maui. Kauai’s majestic landscape makes it an ideal location. A drive down the road will reveal lush green foliage sprinkled with waterfalls, or the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon. You’ll find yourself wondering if you are dreaming!

The wedding industry on Kauai has been concentrating on building its reputation to accommodate the demand of this natural backdrop. There are resorts and hotels to suit every taste, and an ever-growing number of vendors that give you the choice and control when planning your wedding. The island, however, remains in an intact, natural condition. Perfect!

Maui
It is no secret that Maui is usually the first instinct when contemplating the Hawaiian Islands. Its offerings speak for itself – incredible scenery and romantic beaches, an ever-growing number of Luxury hotels, the cliff-teasing Hana Highway.

Maui’s Ka‘anapali Coast has become a tourist haven and the center of Hawaii’s one-stop-shop for intimate wedding ceremonies. With a sharp shift in tourist trends you may find more vendors concerned with quantity rather than quality as the number of "Just Maui’d" couples continues to rise each day. However, you may find just what you are looking for on the island’s more preserved windward coast. Maui may make the perfect setting for your special day!

The Big Island
Life doesn’t get better than this. The Big Island’s west coast boasts world-class hotels consistently ranked in the Top-10 Pacific Resorts in Conde Naste Traveler, and on the East coast, the majesty of the active volcano Kilauea will blow you away! Rare opportunities are to be found on Hawaii’s Big Island, and no matter what your choice, you will be sure to receive an eyeful. While vendors are scarce on The Big Island outside of the hotel setting, there are many local options to provide for your needs.

Lanai
Exclusive seclusion. Lanai has long been a safe-house for the rich and famous, so why not marry like Kings and Queens! On Lanai you will find less in the way of active travel and adventure, but you will have no problem adjusting to your luxurious surroundings and relaxing into the sweet slumber this island offers. The site options seem to be limited to the two resorts residing on this tiny island – which is fine since they are the best of the best! If you can afford the thought of having a wedding on Lanai, you will have no problem bringing the best vendors in from Oahu for a couple days.

Molokai
Molokai IS authentic Hawaii. Perhaps the most rustic and least developed, this is the island locals call “the country.” On Molokai you will find a refreshing relief from the big hotels and resorts, but you must also be open to encounters with paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboys), off-beat tours on mules or foot, and tent life. There are hotels on the island such as the famed Molokai Ranch, but if you are intent on planning a wedding on this island, be prepared to resign yourself to casual surroundings, a local food palette and hand-picked flowers.
